FIND, a key funder for the validation study, AVAPAR, came to Zimbabwe for a first-time visit. They toured Sally Mugabe Central Hospital neonatal ward, Sally Mugabe Children’s Hospital and Mbuya Nehanda Hospital neonatal ward to learn about their operations and current challenges. Dr. Cecilia Ferreyra, Director of AMR at FIND gave a seminar on FIND’s AMR strategy. The FIND team also delivered a training on their latest point-of-care test for gonorrhoea and were also treated to a safari/game drive to experience our nation’s nature and wildlife.
