Annual Christmas party celebrations!

On Monday, November 27th, we came together at Chikurubi Complex Dam View to celebrate our annual Christmas Party. This cherished event holds immense significance as it unites academics, office staff, and field teams, providing an opportunity to reflect on our collective achievements at THRU ZIM. The festivities commenced with opening remarks from our esteemed directors, Prof. Rashida Ferrand and Prof. Katharina Kranzer. They highlighted the grants our group has secured and introduced a new cohort of talented PhD students, setting the stage for an exciting future. This year's Christmas Party was particularly memorable, featuring engaging team games such as drinking, food, and dancing competitions, which brought laughter and joy to us all. Throughout the day, staff took part in thrilling activities such as speedboating, horse riding, and quad biking, creating unforgettable memories and fostering a spirit of adventure. The air was filled with the aroma of braai (barbecue), accompanied by lively dancing. As we approach the end of the year, let us carry the festive spirit and sense of achievement into the future, continuing to make remarkable strides in our academic pursuits at THRU ZIM.
