The programme is a consortium of 5 UK institutions and 6 African Partner institutions in the Gambia, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The programme will award 5 PHD fellowships per year to health care professionals and 5 matched fellowships to fellows from the African partner institutions over 5 years.
