In August 2022, EMPOWA (Empowering Professionals for the Wellbeing of Adolescents) launches its second programme, previously known as the Professional Development Programme on adolescent wellbeing. They launched their first programme in August 2021, with 20 mid- to senior-level policy makers. EMPOWA teaches policy makers and programmers on adolescent wellbeing and supports them to design and implement a 'change project' within their own organisation. They are currently receiving nominations and selecting the participants for the second programme.
